Objectives: To help in making the system efficient and up-to-date for timely dissemination of information for accurate diagnosis of patients and effortless management of hospital records for Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Institute, Guwahati, accurate and timely generation of pay bill, balance sheet and proper maintenance of inventories for quick accounting of issues and receipts of stock available.

Platform : Windows XP, vb 6.0 and Sql server 7.0

1. Patient Registration & Patient Information (Departmentwise) System Module.

1. Login option to the applications by various departments including reception of BBCI to generate various related reports like:

· Advise Slip for Registered Patients.

· Pathology Test Report.

· Clinical History Report.

· Clinical Data Report from various departments of BBCI.

· Doctor’s follow up notes & queries.

· Cancer Evaluation Report.

2. Payroll & Accounting System Module.

1. Various bills and reports are generated like :

· Pay bill both group-wise and individually.

· DA Arrears bill.

· Reports on Voucher, Cash Book and Ledger.

· Trial Balance Report.

· Receipt and Payment Report.

· Balance Sheet Report.

· Income Expenditure Report.

3. Inventory Management System Module.

· Daily issue and receipt of stock

· Annual stock report

2. There are validation checks at each field level while entering data.

3. The backend data is secured with encryption technology.
